Allan Davidson
Allan joined the team in early 2011 following 2 previous years as our external accountant.  Allan has worked with some of Edinburgh’s top accountancy firms for the last 10 years.

Married to Helen, with a son in Murray, Allan shares the love of golf with the team – but unfortunately not the talent!  When not on the golf course, Allan can be found watching a variety of other sports in between chasing the family dog in the park.

Allan’s role within the business is wide and varied, hence the title General Manager.  His primary role however is looking after the back of office systems and procedures to enable the advisors do what the do best – financial services.

Alan Thomson

Alan brings a wealth of both tax and industrial knowledge to Plan it and Prosper - accumulated during his many years in business.

Alan started his career as a Tax inspector with the Inland Revenue prior to setting up his own consultancy business.  Alan oversees our business tax strategies and assists Kevin with the management of our larger portfolios.

Sharing his time between Edinburgh and Glasgow, Alan is exceptionally well connected within both cities business communities.

A keen golfer, Alan has always enjoyed the game, although he admits to enjoying the 19th hole more than the first 18 these days.
