Principals

Kevin Hastings
Founding partner of the firm.  Kevin has more than 20 years’ experience with some of the country’s major banks, from which he has gained a wealth of expertise to advise on financial matters.  Kevin manages our high-worth division, specialising in both on- and off-shore investments.  Kevin is our great golfing hope, a former Lothians’ champion playing off a scratch handicap. 

John Thomson
Founding partner of the firm.  With many years of banking and insurance experience, John was our first advisor to enter whole of market advice back in 2003.  John is a great believer in technology and is a key driver in the adoption of our in-house IT systems.  In addition to his role as managing partner, John looks after our family business clients. 

Lynn Phibbs
A partner of the firm and sister to Kevin, Lynn manages our office administration here in Bonnyrigg.  Never known to stand still, Lynn manages to balance a hectic business life with being super gran to her grandson and three granddaughters.

Jim Phibbs
A partner of the firm and devoted husband to Lynn, Jim handles our logistics.  Jim can be seen up and down the local bypass on a daily basis, collecting and dropping off documents to clients.  A qualified auto-electrician to trade, Jim also manages to keep all our vehicles on the road.
